SPACE COAST DANCE CLUB

Space Coast Dance Club is located in Melbourne, Florida, with members from cities and towns throughout Central Florida. We are only 60 miles from Orlando and a short distance from Kennedy Space Center and the beaches. Space Coast Dance Club, Inc. (SCDC) is organized and operates as a nonprofit social and educational organization under the Nonprofit Corporation Act for the purpose of preserving, studying, teaching and promoting public interest in all forms of social dancing. The club events are a variety of dances, workshops, theme parties and member gatherings. Details are available on this website, Facebook (Space Coast Dance Club), or by contacting the club. Members and others are updated periodically by email.The Club offers a variety of music to support West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Night Club 2, Cha Cha, Country dances and more. Music may vary by the theme presented.

SCDC is hosting Heidi Arnold on Saturday, May 30th!!

Pull out your poodle skirts, hula hoops, leather jackets, saddle shoes, cuffed jeans, scarves, and favorite retro looks and join us on the dance floor!

Get ready for a fun night of music, dancing, and great memories. WCS workshop begins at 6:30 PM. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Heidi is a seasoned dance instructor and the owner of Dancin’ Dance Studio in Indialantic, Florida. With over two decades of teaching experience, she has trained extensively across the country, including in West Palm Beach, Orlando, and New York. Heidi began her dance journey at the age of 3 and started teaching ballroom dance at 16, quickly becoming a lead advanced instructor.

Heidi is also known for her participation in charitable dance events. She has been a recurring instructor and performer in the "Dancing for the Space Coast" charity event, where she and her partners have won multiple times, including a Grand Champion title in 2022.

Through bi-monthly events, shared learning, and meaningful connections, we’re committed to elevating both the individual dancer and the West Coast community as a whole.

* Express your interest by reaching out to Deb
* Submit a brief application for consideration
* The Nominating Committee will review all submissions
* Selected nominees will be presented to the current Board
* The Board will elect incoming Directors by vote

Board members serve and help guide the club while continuing to grow personally and within the community.
